It feels a little premature to say that, but I think we all could use a little extra cheer this year. I don't even get crabby if I hear holiday music when I pop into a store--even if it is only mid-November! On that note, let's talk fish, seven to be exact. I take that back, twenty-one.
On the first three Sundays in December, we are offering The Feast of the Seven Fishes themed Sunday Supper. Once again the meal will be offered for dine-in or carry out. Since this seems to be the year that we have all become planners, I thought now would be a great time to share the menus with you. Please be aware that some details to the menus are subject to change based on availability.
Baccala Fritters- salt cod and cauliflower
Squid Ink Braised Calamari
Shrimp and Bean Salad
Smoked Fish Dip- crackers and pickles
Mussels- saffron cream
Swordfish Polpetti- rapini pesto, Calabrian chilis, polenta
Octopus- potato salad, arugula
Marinated Crab Salad
Baked Cod- cauliflower salad, salsa verde
Mussels- tomato, dill
Salmon Rillettes- pickles and saltines
Tuna Confit- cannellini beans, bread and butter pickled zucchini
Squid Ink Arancini with Octopus
Cod- chick peas, saffron brodetto
